Who we are and what this covers
FixRank AI is operated by 10x Galaxy Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what data we collect through the FixRank website and platform, why we process it, who else is involved in processing it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
For account and billing data we determine the purposes of processing. For the website data you submit for analysis, we process it on your instructions in order to provide the service.
The data we process
We separate the categories because they are collected differently and kept for different periods.
Data you provide
Details you enter directly — name, email, workspace name, support messages, and anything you submit through forms.
Account information
Authentication records, workspace membership and roles, and settings applied to your workspace.
Website content
URLs you add and the page content, markup, and structure retrieved when FixRank crawls or analyses those pages.
Connected account data
Data retrieved from third-party services you authorise, used to produce your analysis.
Usage and technical data
Log records, device and browser information, IP address, and product interaction events used to operate and improve the service.
Payment information
Subscription and billing records. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
Why we process it
To provide the platform: crawling, analysis, recommendations, reporting, and account access.
To operate and secure the service, including debugging, abuse prevention, and investigating incidents.
To handle billing and to meet accounting and tax obligations.
To respond to support requests and communicate about the service.
To improve the product using aggregated or de-identified usage information.
To send marketing communications where you have chosen to receive them; you can opt out at any time.
Legal bases
Where UK or EU data-protection law applies, we rely on performance of a contract for providing the service, legitimate interests for security and product improvement, consent for optional marketing, and legal obligation for financial records.
Service providers and sharing
FixRank is built on third-party infrastructure, so some of your data is necessarily processed by service providers acting on our behalf. We do not claim that data never leaves our systems, because that would not be accurate.
These providers are engaged under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing services to us. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
Cloud hosting and databases
Running the application, storing account records, crawl results, and analysis output.
AI model providers
Processing page content and signals to produce analysis and recommendations.
Payment processing
Taking subscription payments and maintaining billing records.
Product and error analytics
Understanding usage patterns and diagnosing faults.
Email delivery
Sending transactional messages such as sign-in, billing, and report notifications.
Legal or regulatory disclosure
Where we are required to disclose data by law or to establish or defend legal claims.
How long we keep data
Account and workspace data is retained while your workspace is active. If you delete your workspace, we remove or de-identify associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to meet legal obligations.
Billing records are retained for the period required by UK financial and tax legislation. Operational logs are retained on a rolling basis for security and troubleshooting.
International transfers
Some of our service providers operate outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred outside those areas, we rely on the transfer mechanisms available under applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses and the UK international data transfer addendum.
If you need details of the current providers and the transfer mechanisms in place for a procurement review, contact us and we will provide them.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over the personal data we hold about you. We will respond to requests within the period required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
Access a copy of your personal data.
Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Request deletion, where no legal obligation requires us to keep it.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Request portability of data you have provided to us.
Withdraw consent for optional communications at any time.
Complaints
If you are in the UK or EU and you believe your data has been handled improperly, you can complain to your data-protection supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and comparable browser storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the product is used. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the service to function; optional analytics can be controlled through your browser settings or any cookie controls we provide.
Children
FixRank is a business product and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes or as legal requirements evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the product or by email.
